Getting started
Which game is supported?
Guild Core currently supports World of Warcraft: Forever. The roster, gear, talent, profession and raid tools are built around that game.
Can I try the portal first?
Yes. The live demo includes a fictional guild, raid planning, character builds, officer tools and settings. No sign-in is needed. Changes stay in your preview; uploads and live integrations are disabled.
Do my guild members need a billing account?
The guild owner uses a Guild Core account for packages and payments. Members use the guild portal and its configured Discord sign-in.
Hosting and setup
Where will my guild live?
Hosted guilds use your-name.guild.page. Self-hosted guilds use a domain and server managed by their owner.
Hosted or self-hosted: what changes?
Guild Core manages hosted infrastructure, TLS and application updates. With self-hosting, you manage Docker, the database, storage, updates and backups. Package features and limits still apply.
Can I connect my Discord server?
Yes. Configure your guild’s Discord connection and map roles to permissions. Raid-Helper and Warcraft Logs have their own integration settings. These connections are separate from your billing identity.
Packages and billing
Are subscriptions available now?
Checkout is enabled for packages with a verified payment setup. Choose a package, sign in and review the subscription before approving it with PayPal.
Does every package include every feature?
No. Compare the feature list and resource allowances on the pricing page. Monthly and annual options show the full amount billed for that period.
Where can I manage or change my package?
Open Subscriptions in your Guild Core account. Eligible PayPal subscriptions provide renewal controls and plan-change approval. A plan change takes effect after the provider confirms it.
Licenses and data
What does a self-hosted license provide?
A self-hosted subscription provides licensed portal features and access to authorized releases. Your server, domain and infrastructure are managed separately by you.
What if my self-hosted license cannot refresh?
A previously valid signed license can use its limited offline grace period. The account and installation show expiry information. Premium access can expire without erasing guild data.
Does hosted backup retention depend on the package?
Yes. Hosted packages show their backup retention allowance. Self-hosted owners manage their own backups. Review the package details before choosing.
